For the hybrid athlete

Strength and conditioning, one logger.

The log input adapts to whatever you're logging — weight-and-reps, reps only, time only, weight-and-time, distance, distance-and-time, or a loaded carry. Four kinds of personal record live side by side without confusing each other. The workload chart watches everything you do. And every set you log writes to Apple Health, so your data survives any app you switch to next.

The pitch

Where flexRep meets you.

Hybrid athletes hit lifting apps that assume a barbell, then conditioning apps that assume a treadmill, then a notes file for everything that doesn't fit either. flexRep was designed against the bet that the app should fit the athlete, not the other way around.

The log input adapts to what you're doing.

A reps-only set shows one big rep counter. A time-only set shows a minutes-and-seconds clock with five-second, fifteen-second, and one-minute steppers. A distance set shows a metres counter (in yards if you're on imperial). A loaded carry stacks load, distance, and time. No mode shows fields it doesn't use.

Four kinds of PR, side by side.

A heavy single, an AMRAP, a fastest-time, a longest-distance — all four land in the same Records feed, each rendered the way that kind of PR is meant to be read. The chip color stays consistent. The formula behind each chip is different.

Workload watching across all of it.

Your recent week's load versus your last month's load — the chart watches the integrated picture, not just strength or just conditioning. Yellow band when you're drifting high; red band when you're spiking; a soft notification once a week if you cross. The verdict that follows reads strength and conditioning as one training life.

Four PR families · one feed

The Records feed, mixed-modality.

A heavy single from Tuesday, an AMRAP from Wednesday, a row PR from Friday, a carry from Saturday — all four land in the same Records feed, each rendered the way that kind of PR is meant to be read. The chip color stays consistent. The formula behind each chip is different. The workload chart watches the integrated load and bands accordingly.

Your highlight reel

Five features doing real work for you.

Out of the The Hybrid Athlete's thirty-six daily features, these are the ones that earn their seat at the rack.

Seven adaptive modes

Weight-and-reps, reps only, time only, weight-and-time, distance, distance-and-time, loaded carry — plus a generic "custom" for the rare exercise that doesn't fit. The log input only shows the fields the mode actually uses.

Four PR families in one feed

Weight (with rep and one-rep PRs), AMRAP (grouped by 30-second cap), fastest time at distance (lower is better, bucketed every five metres), and longest carry. Each renders in its right format; the chips read consistently.

Workload across modalities

Acute load over chronic load, reading the integrated picture — strength plus conditioning. Yellow band from 1.3 to 1.5; red band above 1.5. One soft notification per week when you spike.

Per-set Apple Health writes, every modality

A twenty-minute AMRAP, a five-kilometre row, a heavy single, a loaded carry — each lands as its own segment in Apple Health, tagged with our set-level metadata. Your training survives every app you ever switch to.

Multi-sport identity in one profile

Your goal can be weightlifting, armwrestling, climbing, grip, or strongman — alongside the strength and hypertrophy goals. The AI is goal-aware, so a specialization phase doesn't get scolded as imbalance.

How it stacks up for a hybrid athlete

The category is fragmented across specialized apps. flexRep's position is that the right answer is a schema that bends to the modality, not a portfolio of separate apps to switch between.

What we won't do for you

Refusals are also features.

  • We don't require you to pick a "sport" at install.
  • We don't lecture a specialization week as imbalance.
  • We don't fictionalize cross-modality 1RMs from non-strength work.
  • We don't paywall multi-sport tracking.
