Lives where you already look.

A persistent Live Activity during workouts shows the rest countdown without you unlocking. The Dynamic Island renders the compact pill and the expanded countdown ring. The Lock Screen plate widget shows what to load for the next set — at your current gym's actual plate inventory. Home Screen and Lock Screen widget families. App Intents for one-tap actions. Live Activity privacy mode redacts exercise names if you want.

The four points

What this actually does, in flexRep.

01 / 04

Rest countdown without unlocking.

During a workout the Lock Screen carries a persistent activity with the rest countdown, set count, and last exercise. Glance at your phone, see the seconds, breathe through the rest. The phone never has to come out of the rack pocket.

02 / 04

Dynamic Island — compact + expanded.

Compact pill while you scroll a different app: rest countdown left, last set right. Long-press for the expanded card with the full countdown ring, RPE, and the next-set affordance.

03 / 04

Lock Screen plate widget.

Plate-target widget across the three accessory families. Same surface on the Watch face. Set the target via widget config or Siri Shortcut. Load the bar without unlocking anything.

04 / 04

Live Activity privacy mode.

If you train in public, flip the toggle — the Lock Screen activity redacts exercise names down to muscle groups and drops set details. The rest timer stays useful; the screenshot doesn't broadcast your training to the bystander behind you.

Where we stop

Four refusals on this surface.

  • We don't require unlocking to glance.
  • We don't spam notifications during a set.
  • We don't hide the rest countdown behind a Pro tier.
  • We don't broadcast your training without consent.

Glance the screen. Lift the bar.
